Public Mood terms of service
Effective date: 15 Oct 2026
1. Who we are
Public Mood is a service of KonsulentBixen v/ Kasper Skov Jensen, CVR 41368071, Njalsgade 21F, 2nd floor, 2300 Copenhagen S, Denmark ("we", "us"). These terms apply to all purchases and use of Public Mood at publicmood.io. They add to KonsulentBixen's general Legal Framework at legal.konsulentbixen.dk. Where the two differ on Public Mood, these terms apply.
2. Business customers only
Public Mood is sold only to businesses, sole proprietors and professionals acting in the course of their business. By ordering you confirm that you are not acting as a consumer. Consumer rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, therefore do not apply.
3. What we deliver
An analysis answers one question or topic for one period, across the platforms that fit the topic and, where relevant, news coverage from written online sources. It covers up to 10,000 posts. You receive an interactive report on your customer page and a PDF, normally within 3 working days of an approved request. Each analysis states its period, sources and method.
4. Plans and prices
You can buy a single analysis, or a plan for 6 or 12 months. Current prices are on the pricing page when you order. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where it applies. Payment is by card through our payment provider Payfunnels, upfront for the whole period. There is no monthly payment. Your plan includes a set number of analyses each month, added on the 1st of each month. If you buy part-way through a month, you get the full monthly number straight away, until the end of that month. Unused analyses expire at the end of that month and do not carry over. If we are late delivering an analysis, it stays valid until we have delivered it. You can upgrade at any time and downgrade at the end of your plan.
5. Renewal and cancellation
Plans renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel. You can cancel up to 30 days before the renewal date, and we may send a reminder by email before the renewal. To cancel, email [email protected] before the cancellation deadline. Cancelling stops the renewal; the current period stays active until it ends, and paid periods are not refunded. On payment, renewal and cancellation these terms take precedence over the general Legal Framework, including its payment terms (net 7 days, late-payment interest), which do not apply to plans paid by card upfront.
6. Free first analysis
Eligible businesses can get one free analysis, limited to one per email domain. If you publish findings from a free analysis, you must credit Public Mood.
7. What an analysis is, and is not
An analysis describes what people say in public posts and news coverage. It is not a poll, a survey or a representative sample of any population, and it does not show why people think what they think. Results are read against the topic's usual tone, and we may be unable to find all relevant posts or articles. We analyse only publicly available content and never private messages, private profiles, closed groups or closed channels.
8. Using the results
You may use and publish the findings in your own work, with or without crediting us, but you must not present them as a poll or as representative. Free first analysis: credit Public Mood. You may not resell the raw data or the report as a standalone product.
9. Your requests
You tell us the question, keywords, period, countries or languages and any pages of your own. We may narrow or refuse a request, for example when it would breach platform rules or law, or when it would exceed the 10,000-post limit. Your plan quota is only deducted after we approve the request.
10. Data and privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. Raw data with usernames is deleted 90 days after delivery; only the anonymised data file is kept.
11. Liability
We deliver the service with reasonable care and do not guarantee completeness, accuracy of third-party content or any business result. To the extent the law permits, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plan or analysis in question in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A change that affects a running plan applies from the next renewal, and we tell you by email in good time before it.
13. Governing law
Danish law applies, and disputes go to the courts in Copenhagen.
