News coverage
News coverage, next to the online mood
When a topic is in the news, Public Mood adds news coverage to the analysis at no extra cost: how much has been written, in which outlets, when, and the tone of the coverage, on the same timeline as online sentiment.
News coverage is based on written online news sources we can find through search. We may miss articles behind paywalls, in smaller outlets or in languages outside the analysis scope, so treat the outlet count as a minimum, not a complete list.
What's included
- Included: "This analysis found X articles from Y outlets", with the outlet list

- Included: At most a short, credited excerpt (about 200 characters)

Instead, it's a news coverage analysis for a defined period.
